Tuscany - several kilometers of lavender planes in the background with high poplar poppers like in a softener adds. It is said to be the most beautiful corner of Italy, so I chose it for my very first seaside holiday. However, I do not see the best of Tuscany.

Tuscany - Lido di Jesolo - hotel

I chose a place for a quiet holiday and we wanted to avoid crowds of tourists. We headed to Camaiore on the coast of the Ligurian Sea. It is a small town approximately 1100 km away. Practically highway leads to it, so it is very comfortable to travel, although the Italian pedaggio¹ is not cheap and summer heat can also exhaust. We were judged to be close by the increasing number of hotels, beach shops, restaurants and palms along the road. Everything as a movie.

Tivat - "Where is it?" people asked. Tivat is a little town in Montenegro. The Montenegrin seashore is divided into 4 parts - from the south it is Ulcinj riviera, then Bar riviera, Budva and finally the Tivat riviera. Tivat is located in a bay called Boka Kotorska.Boka was once the seat of the Austro-Hungarian fleet. This bay is dominated by 4 cities - the largest Kotor, Tivat, Risan and Herceg Novi.

Veneto Impression

Veneto - region in the northern part of Italy with capital Venezia or Venice, about 700 km from Slovakia. The whole area is lowland with many picturesque villaggi¹and smaller towns surrounded by fields. You can get there easily by autostrada²even if it is outside 40 and the AC in the car is no longer working, it is not pleasant. Surely you will be cooled by looking at uscita³Caorle, Bibione, Lignano, Jesolo idea that you are no longer far from the desired sea.

idea when crossing the town of Neum not far from Dubrovnik that he went from Croatia to Croatia through Bosnia and Herzegovina. Once there was only one small station and handsome local policeman¹, so you just wondered why you have to stop and in 10 minutes you continued your journey. Although there was a sticker on the station´s wall "Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine", there was no chance of noticing it unless you stood right in front of it. They recently removed this small station and made a real border crossing². Now you will notice that you are in another state for sure.

Durres- the ruthless Balkans

Albania - a land of eagles, Enver's bunkers, a lost corner of the world with the cruelest mafia in the world that few tourists know about and just frightens most people.

You can get there either by endless kilometers of Balkan roads of varying quality or by plane, which I think is the easiest and best way to travel. I chose the other way, as I just didn't want to travel 24 hours by bus. In about 80 minutes we admired the waves of the Adriatic from the plane and started to descend to the Mother Teresa Airport near the village of Rinas. Of course, the first thing that will strike you in the eye are red flags everywhere, not only at the airport, but also in the city, houses, institutions - a patriotic phenomenon typical of the Balkans.
